Mazak has over two decades of experience with soft tissue work since becoming a registrant with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 1996 with training from the D’Arcy Lane institute.
She has gained much experience throughout the years treating TMJ imbalances and muscles of speech, swallowing and respiration (particularly in People with Parkinson's) and finds the work very exciting and rewarding.
Each treatment begins with discussing the goals of treatment to customize a treatment plan that fits the individual client needs and a thorough explanation of the treatment techniques and what to expect.
Mazak follows her creative side and has created many works of art and was named one of the Top 50 People in the Nation's Capital by Ottawa Life Magazine. She was also a photographer for many years....and a violin maker's apprentice....event planner.... a nanny....and the list goes on.
On the side, Mazak has put her experience working with clients to good use and has become an entrepreneur who has developed and is currently manufacturing an ergonomic device (squinchi) that offers relief from the fatigue and wrist pains from mousing at a computer.
Mazak has been photographing professionally for 15 years. Visit her photography website
